While people in other areas are sipping steaming hot pumpkin spice lattes to stay warm, we get our gourd on with cold treats that keep us cool until the temperature really drops. 

Flamingo Chic

Bright pink plastic flamingos have been a staple of Florida front yards for decades. Put a Halloween spin on the look with a spooky flamingo skeleton.

Fall Fabrics

Keep cool as a cucumber while soaking up the sun by giving your swimwear an autumnal twist. A plaid pattern will have you looking cute and kitschy at the same time. 

Seasonal Songs

It’s roasty toasty outside, so we cool down with fall-inspired tunes. We’re listening to Noah Kahan’s album Stick Season to evoke the feeling of a chilly fall and the hot cocoa we’ll have a little later than the rest of the country.

Whatever the temperature, Sarasota farms offer hayrides for anyone brave enough to cruise in the sunshine. Slather on the sunscreen and hop on board. 

Carved Creations

Trade in the pumpkin, which melts on your doorstep the same day you put it out, for something a little more tropical. A carved pineapple may not last forever, but it sure is adorable.
